Hi, I am Claire!
I’m a natural light and studio photographer based in West Michigan, serving families throughout Ionia and the surrounding communities. I specialize in families, couples, newborns, milestones, children, and seniors — capturing life’s sweetest seasons in a genuine and relaxed way.
I first picked up a camera in June of 2017, and what started as a hobby quickly grew into something I couldn’t imagine my life without. In May of 2019, I officially turned my “side gig” into a real business — and I’ve never looked back.
I pride myself on being laid back while still having a plan. Sessions with me are organized, relaxed, and full of real moments. I love getting to know my clients, watching families grow year after year, and constantly pushing myself to grow creatively.
A little more about me…
I’m a farmer’s wife married to my high school sweetheart and a mama to two amazing kiddos, Anderson and Adeline. Our life is rooted in country living, small-town values, and lots of love (and a little chaos). Fall is my favorite season — give me sweaters, hot cocoa, and changing leaves any day. I love Disney Pixar movies, snuggling my kids, and yes… I can be a little chatty during sessions 😅

Nick and I have been together for 11 years and married for 8. He helps run and is part owner of his family’s dairy farm, and his work ethic inspires me daily.
Our life is rooted in early mornings, long days, and small-town values. Behind the scenes of my photography business, he’s my biggest supporter — always jumping in to help bring my creative ideas to life. I truly couldn’t do this without him.
Meet Anderson!
Anderson — our sweet Andy — is our double rainbow baby. After losing our two beautiful boys, Bradley (2018) and Wayland (2019), welcoming him in February 2021 was an incredible blessing.
He’s always on the move, a little farmer at heart, and his smile lights up any room he enters.
Diagnosed with autism in 2024 and considered nonverbal, Andy sees the world in the most beautiful and unique way. Watching life through his eyes is one of life’s greatest gifts.
Meet Adeline!
Adeline — our bold and bright Addy — completes our little family. She was born in August of 2022 and is without a doubt our wild child.
Like her big brother, she has a beautiful and unique mind. She was diagnosed with autism at the beginning of 2025. Addy is very verbal and not afraid to use her voice — her personality is BIG, a little dramatic, and full of life (which is exactly why we love her so much).
She’ll steal your heart in seconds and is a true lover of food — just like her mama 🤍
You’ll definitely be seeing plenty of both of my kiddos throughout my photography journey.
